Hold Your Head Up

In another lesson of Joyce Meyer: Promises for Your Everyday Life – a Daily Devotional, we are reminded that God is the lifter of our heads:

Psalm 3:3 KJV

But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

Remember, even when times are bad don’t walk around as though you’re depressed – I know. Easier said than done. We need to be God’s light to the world around us and we can’t do that when we’re walking around looking depressed.

So, how do you hold your head up when you’re having a really bad day?

That is where God can transform us. Give your bad day to Him, give your worries to him, and feel the weight lifting off your shoulders. When the weight is lifted up your head can raise up and you can praise God in the middle of your difficulties.

Better yet, you get to be a light to those around you and help them during their bad times and help them to see that God loves them and can help them too.

Be blessed today and always!
Alicia
