    Today I am blessed to be starting a new study with great friends of mine – Alicia Tucker and Tricia Gardner – Tricia was so kind to invite us to do this study and I am honored.

    Days 1 really started hitting me in areas where I needed to stop and just think!  I have been baptized, I have been saved and I am born again in Christ – but in Day 1 Joyce not only offered salvation to new people, people that have not yet opened their hearts and souls to Christ but to those that have already done so and might be feeling an empty spot, a void if you will.  I am one of those latter people.  My journey with Jesus is a winding one.  I am not always on the path and (more…)

    Walk Talk Wednesday: The right message at the right time

    Have you ever noticed when you happen to read the right message at the right time? At just the time you’re struggling the most it seems you get the Bible verse that you need for that day or that time for that struggle that you’re in the middle of.

    I’m pretty sure that’s not by accident! God knows what you need to hear right when you need to hear it and he can send the right person or the right message to you at just the right time. God is so good! Its reminders like these that let usknow we are not alone that he is always with us.

    Today this verse was a blessing and encouragement to me and I pray that it encourages and blesses you today as well.

  • Knowing About God… {Christina}

    In my reading today a point was clearly made….  We can study, we can go to churches, we can fellowship, we can graduate with top honors from a Godly University all the time “studying” and “learning” about God – but we are getting “book knowledge” not true about God Knowledge – the know of “about” God but nothing of the “Heart” of God – this we are reminded only God can reveal this to us.

    HIM being in me is what Glorifies God – he shows and reveals to me what is worthwhile in the time setting HE chooses things to be relevant in my life.  It is important to listen deep to God when he is speaking to you, it is (more…)

    This verse spoke to my heart today as I await lab results for my white blood cell count. Too many painful swollen glands in my neck and head… But I refuse to let worry consume me. I wait for the Lord instead.

    This is a tough one for me, I know, but one that God gently reminds new of as needed. Passing judgment on others can come so easily in our thoughts, but as the verses teach us… God doesn’t want us to judge others in this way.
