Time Alone with God – TAG
Today was about making commitments to yourself and to God – commitments to spend TIME ALONE with GOD at the start of your day EVERY day!
Here is a copy of my commitment… in my very own handwriting… (mistakes and all…)
In order to meet this commitment, I have to wake up a little earlier than I have been. My usual day starts with me hitting the snooze several times, then trying to scramble up the stairs to wake the kids up from school – often later than I want to. That is a rough way to start the day.
I don’t exactly have a PLACE for my TAG time, but I do have a basket, which includes my Bible, kindle, Personal Notebook, devotional journals, pens, and my Livescribe notebook with pen – oh… and a battery-operated flicker candle in my favorite candle holder to add a little sparkle to my morning. I like the idea of the basket because I can take it to any space, upstairs, downstairs, inside, outside, or even in front of the fireplace depending on the season and the day. 🙂

Oh wow that is a great idea – I am having a problem finding “the space” too – I have baskets, I think I will set one up for me too and be able to move with the seasons – I still want a “space” to go to and I will continue to find one…. I cannot wait to see more pics of time you spend in your space in all of different locations…
I just recently gave up my office space to Kevin for a mancave, since he gave me his laptop for work so I could work downstairs. So, I was struggling to think of the perfect place. I like being able to go outside on some mornings, so the basket seemed to make sense. 🙂
